Pick up from your hotel
The official tour guide will pick you up at your hotel, located in Miraflores, to start a unique tour through the three historical stages of Lima: Pre-Hispanic, Colonial and Modern.
Miraflores: Parque del Amor and Huaca Pucllana
We start the tour with a stop at the Parque del Amor, perfect to enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean and take unforgettable pictures. Then, from the bus, you will see the Huaca Pucllana, a ceremonial center from the 4th century A.D., one of the most important vestiges of ancestral Lima.
Historic Center of Lima: World Heritage Site
We continue to the Historic Center of Lima, recognized by UNESCO. Here we will visit:
- Paseo de la República, with the historic Roosevelt House.
- Plaza San Martin, surrounded by colonial and republican architecture.
- Plaza Mayor, where we will descend to see:
- Government Palace
- Municipal Palace
- Archbishop's Palace
- Basilica Cathedral of Lima
San Francisco Convent and Catacombs
We visit the Convent of San Francisco, a jewel of colonial art. The visit includes the catacombs, subway passages that reveal part of the hidden history of Lima.
Return to Hotel
We finish the tour returning to your hotel in Miraflores, after having lived an enriching experience full of culture and tradition.
