    Ballestas Islands: An Encounter with Nature and Marine Fauna

    Explore the South Coast

    Starting Points

    • 04:10 a.m. - In front of the Municipality of Los Olivos
    • 04:20 a.m. - North Plaza
    • 04:50 a.m. - Av. Aviación 2410-2420 (Crossroads of Avenidas Javier Prado and Aviación)
    • 05:20 a.m. - Larcomar, in front of the Marriott Hotel, Miraflores

    • 06:00 a.m. - Mall del Sur, Proceres Bridge

    Departure to Paracas

    We start the trip in comfortable and safe tourist transportation. The trip lasts approximately 4 hours.

    During the ride, a Box Lunch will be provided, including Frugos juice and a cookie to enjoy the ride.

    Arrival at the Paracas Tourist Pier - 09:30 a.m.

    We will go to the dock to embark on modern boats bound for the Ballestas Islands.

    Ballestas Islands Tour

    Enjoy a unique tour of the Paracas Bay. During the tour you will be able to observe:

    • Sea lions
    • Humboldt penguins
    • Cormorants, flamingos and parihuanas
    • Many other seabirds

    In addition, you will have the opportunity to appreciate El Candelabro, an ancient geoglyph, while the guide explains the various theories about its origin.

    Duration of tour: Approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

    Free time in Paracas - 11:15 a.m.

    After the tour, passengers can enjoy the beach, walk along the boardwalk or relax by the sea.

    Lunch is free (at the passenger's expense), with the option of choosing among several local restaurants offering typical dishes of the region.

    Optional Visit: Yakupark - 12:30 p.m.

    For those who choose it, we offer a visit to Yakupark, the largest water park in South America.

    There you will be able to challenge your balance, speed and endurance in more than 42 obstacles, in a breathtaking environment between the desert and the sea.

    You can also enjoy a panoramic view of the Paracas National Reserve.

    Check-in at the hotel - 14:30 p.m.

    Upon arrival at the hotel, passengers will have the afternoon free to rest, enjoy the beach or explore Paracas on their own.

    Ica and Huacachina: Dunes, Wine and Nature

    Start of the Day

    07:00 a.m. - Breakfast

    Start the day with a delicious breakfast to recharge your batteries and prepare for a day full of culture, flavors and adventure.

    Heading to Ica

    12:00 p.m. - Departure to the city of Ica

    We travel to Ica, a representative city of southern Peru, known for its desert, its vineyards and its pisco tradition.

    13:00 p.m. - Arrival to Ica

    Upon arrival, you will have time for a free lunch (at your own expense) in one of the local restaurants. Take the opportunity to try the typical dishes of the region.

    After lunch, we prepare to learn about the traditional process of making pisco and wine.

    Route of Flavor and Tradition

    14:00 p.m. - Visit to a Wine and Pisco Cellar

    Discover the secrets of pisco and wine in one of the most representative wineries of Ica.

    You will enjoy a tasting of wines, piscos, creams, macerates and mistelas, all in a lively atmosphere with typical phrases of the area that will make the experience more fun.

    15:00 p.m. - Visit to Chocolatería Noelia

    Sweeten your tour with a stop at the famous Chocolatería Noelia, where you can taste chocotejas, alfajores, cookies, jams and other handmade products.

    In addition, you will learn about the elaboration process of these delicious traditional sweets.

    Desert Adventure

    16:00 p.m. - Excursion to the Huacachina Oasis

    Visit the iconic Huacachina Oasis, a unique landscape in the middle of the desert.

    You will be able to walk around, take amazing pictures and, if you wish, participate in a tubular ride and practice sandboarding (optional activity, with additional cost).

    Return Route with Cultural Stop

    17:00 p.m. - Departure to Chincha

    We continue our trip to Chincha, a city known for its Afro-Peruvian heritage and exquisite cuisine.

    17:30 p.m. - Optional Visit: Racimo de Uvas Winery

    On weekends, this visit includes a full cultural experience with live Afro-Peruvian dancing, wine tasting and local delicacies such as frejol colado, picarones and tamales.

    An excellent opportunity to learn more about the handicraft production of the area and experience the warmth of Chincha.

    Return to Lima

    18:30 p.m. - Departure to Lima

    We end the day with the return to Lima. The trip is made in comfortable transportation, ideal to rest after an intense day.

    22:00 p.m. - Arrival in Lima

    Estimated time of arrival in the city. Transfer back to the hotels in Miraflores (previously coordinated).
