Day 01 :

Route of the Sun from Puno to Cusco

🚌 We Begin Our Journey from Puno

First, your journey begins with boarding at 05:30 a.m. at the Puno Bus Terminal, Counter C-5. We depart at 06:00 a.m. and head towards Cusco.

🛡️ Pukara – Our First Encounter with History

Our first stop is Pukara. Here, you will visit its Archaeological Museum and learn more about the ancient cultures of the highlands and their legacy.

🏔️ La Raya – Between Puno and Cusco

Next, we continue to La Raya, one of the most scenic stops along the route. Take in the Andean landscapes and enjoy some time to capture photos.

🍽️ A Pause to Enjoy Lunch

During the journey, we will stop for a buffet lunch. It is a great opportunity to take a break before continuing along the Route of the Sun.

🏛️ Raqchi – Discover the Temple of Wiracocha

After lunch, we continue to Raqchi to visit one of the most important archaeological sites along the route. Here, you will see the impressive Temple of Wiracocha and its large Inca walls.

Your guide will accompany you during the visit and share the history behind this remarkable site.

⛪ Andahuaylillas – The Sistine Chapel of America

Before reaching Cusco, we will visit Andahuaylillas and the Church of Saint Peter the Apostle. Its remarkable artistic heritage has earned it the name “Sistine Chapel of America.”

This will be our final cultural visit before continuing to Cusco.
