Full Day Tour Uros and Amantani Islands | Culture at Lake Titicaca

Pick up at the Hotel (Puno):

• The day starts with the pick-up of participants from their hotels in Puno at around 7:00 a.m.

Transfer to the port of Puno:

• Arrival at the port and boarding of a tourist boat to begin navigation on Lake Titicaca.

Visit to the Floating Islands of the Uros (1 hour):

• First stop at the famous floating islands built with totora reeds.
• Learn about the history, culture and way of life of the Uros people.
• Time to explore the islands, interact with residents and purchase local handicrafts.

Navigation to Amantani (2 hours):

• Enjoy the scenery as you sail to Amantani Island, one of the largest islands in Lake Titicaca.

Arrival to Amantani and guided tour:

• Explore the island and get to know the local community, famous for its hospitality and connection with nature.
• Hike to the highest points of the island, where the ceremonial temples dedicated to Pachatata and Pachamama are located.
• Enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the lake and its surroundings.

Typical lunch:

• Lunch prepared by local families, with fresh and traditional ingredients from the region.

Free time:

• Explore the island at your own pace, interact with the residents or just relax and enjoy the scenery.

Return to Puno:

• Boarding the boat to return to Puno.
• Arrival at the port of Puno at approximately 17:00 p.m. and we will leave you near the main square.
