Ica in 2 Days / 1 Night : Adventure and Wine in the Desert

Starting Points:
04:10 a.m. – In front of the Municipality of Los Olivos.
04:20 a.m. – Plaza Norte.
04:50 a.m. – Av. Aviación 2410-2420 (Crossroads of Avenidas Javier Prado and Aviación).
05:20 a.m. – Larcomar, in front of the Marriott Hotel, Miraflores.
Pick up from hotels in Miraflores (schedules to be previously coordinated).
06:00 a.m. – Mall del Sur, Proceres Bridge.

Start:
Departure to Paracas in comfortable and safe tourist transportation (approximately 4 hours trip).
Box Lunch included (Frugos and cookie) to enjoy on the way.

09:30 a.m. – Arrival at the Paracas Tourist Pier
Transfer to the pier to embark on modern boats to the Ballestas Islands.
Ballestas Islands Tour: Enjoy a unique tour around the Paracas Bay, observing the impressive marine fauna.
You will see sea lions, Humboldt penguins, cormorants, flamingos, parihuanas and many other sea birds.
Sea lions may approach the boat and penguins swim nearby.
You will appreciate the Candelabro, a mysterious geoglyph on the rock, while the guide explains the theories about its origin.
Duration of the tour: 1 hour and 45 minutes approximately.

11:15 a.m. – Free time in Paracas
For those who wish to stay at the beach, you can enjoy the sun and the sea breeze.
Free lunch at one of the local restaurants (at the passenger’s expense), where you can taste typical dishes of the area.

12:30 p.m. – Optional Visit to Yakupark (Water Park)
If you choose this option, you will enjoy Yakupark, the largest water park in South America, located in Paracas.
Challenge your balance, speed and endurance in more than 42 obstacles in a unique environment between the desert and the sea.
Enjoy panoramic views of the Paracas National Reserve and the most famous beaches of southern Peru.

14:30 p.m. – Check-in at the Hotel and free afternoon accommodation in Paracas.

Free afternoon to enjoy the resort, relax on the beach or explore the surroundings.

01 NIGHT IN PARACAS

07:00 AM – Breakfast
Start the day with a delicious breakfast to replenish your energy and get ready for a tour full of adventure and culture.

12:00 PM – Departure to the city of Ica
Departure to Ica, one of the most emblematic cities of southern Peru, famous for its desert and pisco production.

13:00 PM – Arrival to the city of Ica
Free lunch (at the passenger’s expense) in one of the local restaurants to enjoy the typical gastronomy of the region.
After lunch, we start our visit to the wineries in the area.

14:00 PM – Visit to the Wine and Pisco Cellar
Visitors will be invited to taste the main products produced in the winery: Wines, Piscos, Pisco Creams, Macerados and Mistelas.
In addition, they will enjoy a unique and dynamic atmosphere, with typical Ica phrases that will accompany the sensory experience.

15:00 PM – Visit to Noelia Chocolate Factory
Tasting of chocotejas, alfajores, jams, handmade cookies and other traditional sweets of the region.
A tour of the chocolate factory that will allow you to learn about the artisanal process and enjoy their delicious products.

16:00 PM – Excursion to Huacachina Oasis
Excursion to the Huacachina Oasis, a lagoon located only 5 km from Ica.
Visitors can enjoy the tranquility of the oasis, walk around, take amazing pictures and explore the desert.
Option to take a ride on a sand cart and practice sandboarding (optional, with additional cost).

17:00 PM – Departure to Chincha
Departure to Chincha, a city known for its rich Afro-Peruvian heritage and gastronomic culture.

17:30 PM – Visit to Racimo de Uvas Winery (Optional)
At Racimo de Uvas, on weekends you can enjoy the typical Negroid dance while tasting the wines and piscos of the winery.
Taste the typical delicacies of Chincha, such as frejol colado, picarones, tamales, among others.
Option to do a wine tasting and learn about local production.

18:30 PM – Departure to Lima
Start the return to Lima, enjoying a comfortable and relaxing trip after a day full of adventures.

22:00 PM – Arrival in Lima
Approximate arrival in Lima at the point of origin.
Return to hotels in Miraflores (previously arranged).
