1. Beginning of the Tour in Barranco
We will begin our experience with a visit to the charming district of Barranco, famous for its bohemian and artistic atmosphere. Although originally a quiet fishing village, today it has become the cultural heart of Lima. Here, you can walk across the famous Bridge of Sighs, observe colorful murals and appreciate the colonial architecture still preserved in the area.
2. Trip to the Pachacamac Ruins
Next, we will head to the impressive archaeological sanctuary of Pachacamac, located in the Lurin Valley. This place, considered one of the most important ceremonial centers of both pre-Inca and Inca cultures, is ideal for those who wish to learn more about our past.
3. Tour of the Sanctuary
Once at the archaeological site, we will explore the most important points of the site, such as:
- The Acllahuasi: Also known as the house of the chosen ones or virgins of the Sun.
- The Temple of the Sun: A large ceremonial structure that offers incredible views of the valley and the sea.
- Pyramids and ceremonial plazas: Spaces that reflect the splendor of the ancient cultures that inhabited the region.
During the tour, your guide will give you interesting facts about the history, architecture and rituals that were performed in this sacred place. Thus, each step will have a special meaning.
4. Return to the Lodging
Finally, after a day full of learning and memorable moments, we will return to your lodging. This will conclude an enriching experience of history, culture and natural beauty.
