Chullpas of Sillustani | History and Mystery in the Peruvian Altiplano

Pick up at the Hotel (Puno):

• The tour starts with the pick up from your respective hotels in Puno (near the main square).
• Hours available: Afternoon: 2:00 p.m.

Transfer to Sillustani (40 minutes):

• Travel by tourist transport to the Chullpas of Sillustani.
• Along the way, you will enjoy Andean landscapes, small local communities and panoramic views of the altiplano.

Guided visit to the Chullpas:

• Arrival at the archaeological site and guided tour of the impressive funerary towers of the Colla culture.
• Explanation of the history, architecture and spiritual significance of the Chullpas.
• View of Lake Umayo and its natural surroundings.
• Free time to explore, take pictures and enjoy the place.

Cultural Parade:

• Visit a nearby local community to learn more about Andean traditions, handicrafts and daily life in the region.

Return to Puno:

• Transfer back to the city of Puno and we will leave you near the main square.
