Humantay Lagoon Expedition: An Unforgettable Journey from Cusco

04:30 a.m. – Pick up from hotels in Cusco

We will start the tour by picking up passengers at their hotels between 04:30 a.m. and 04:45 a.m., aboard our comfortable tourist transportation, accompanied by a professional guide. Then, we will begin a journey of approximately 2 hours from the city of Cusco, enjoying beautiful landscapes on the way to our destination.

06:30 a.m. – Breakfast in Mollepata

We will arrive at the village of Mollepata, where we will make a brief stop to enjoy a typical breakfast, with local products, and take some energy before the hike.

07:00 a.m. – Start of the hike to the Humantay Lagoon.

From Mollepata, we will take transportation to Soraypampa, the starting point of the trek. Here, the guide will give you instructions on the route. The hike has an approximate duration of 1.5 to 2 hours, with a moderate difficulty due to the altitude (4,200 m.a.s.l.).

09:30 a.m. – Arrival at Humantay Lagoon

You will enjoy a breathtaking view of turquoise waters surrounded by snow-capped mountains. You will have free time to take pictures, explore the surroundings and enjoy the scenery.

10:30 a.m. – Free time to explore and rest

During this time, you can relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. If you wish, you can walk a little more around the lagoon or simply rest and absorb the beauty of the place.

11:30 a.m. – Return to Soraypampa

We begin the descent back to Soraypampa. This route is easier and takes approximately 1 hour.

13:00 p.m. – Lunch in Soraypampa

Upon arrival in Soraypampa, we will stop to enjoy a delicious typical lunch at a local restaurant, where you can try traditional dishes of the region.

14:00 p.m. – Return to Cusco

After lunch, we will take the transportation back to Cusco. During the trip, you will be able to relax and enjoy the scenery of the Andes.

18:00 p.m. – Arrival to Cusco

The tour ends with the arrival in Cusco, where we will drop you off near the main square (Plaza de Armas).
