IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Maximum Permitted Weight:
- The airplanes used to fly over the Nazca Lines have a maximum weight per passenger. Generally, the maximum weight per person is 100-110 kg (220-240 lbs), but this may vary according to the airline and type of aircraft.
- If a passenger’s weight exceeds this limit, it is recommended to contact the agency to discuss options or adjustments.
Weight distribution:
- Because light aircraft have a limited capacity, the total weight of passengers must be balanced to ensure the safety of the flight.
- Agency personnel may request that passengers be distributed in a specific manner on the aircraft according to their weight to ensure a balanced flight.
Weighing upon arrival:
- At check-in, a weigh-in will be performed to assign seats appropriately. This is standard procedure to ensure the safety and balance of the aircraft.
- It is important to be honest with the weight at check-in to avoid delays during boarding.
Recommendation for People with Above Average Weight:
- If a passenger exceeds the maximum recommended weight, he or she may be assigned an additional seat or offered a different option, such as splitting the flight into several groups.
- Some airlines may charge a supplement for an additional seat if the weight exceeds the limit.
