Palccoyo Mountain of Colors Tour – Peruvian Andes Adventure

04:30 – 05:00 AM:
Pick up from your hotel in Cusco. Begin the journey south, passing through picturesque Andean landscapes and small traditional villages.

07:00 AM:
Stop for a delicious breakfast at a local restaurant. Here you can enjoy typical food of the region before continuing the tour.

08:30 AM:
Arrival at the starting point of the hike. A brief explanation from the guide about the route, safety measures and interesting facts about Palccoyo and its surroundings.

08:45 – 11:30 AM:
Start of the hike to the main viewpoints. This is an easy to moderate level hike, with an approximate duration of 1 hour one way and 1 hour return. During the hike, you will enjoy:

• The mountains of vibrant colors.
• The stone forest, a unique geological formation.
• Panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks of the Vilcanota mountain range.
• Encounters with alpacas and llamas in their natural habitat.

11:30 AM:
Time to rest, take pictures and enjoy the tranquility of the place.

12:00 PM:
Return to transportation and transfer to the restaurant for lunch.

01:30 PM:
Buffet lunch with typical Peruvian food options.

03:00 PM:
Start of the return trip to Cusco.

05:30 PM:
Arrival in Cusco and drop off near the main square of Cusco.
