Start of the tour
At 07:30 a.m. we will start picking up passengers from their hotels or from the previously coordinated meeting point.
Visit to Chucuito
At 08:00 a.m. we will start our visit to Chucuito. This place was very important during the Viceroyalty of Peru. It was known as the center of the Collao towns. During colonial times, Chucuito was famous for its silver mines and was called the “City of the Royal Boxes”. Its Plaza de Armas and the surrounding buildings still impress visitors.

From Cerro Atojja, 667 meters above Lake Titicaca, we will enjoy a spectacular view. We will see the altiplanic horizon, the lake and the islands of Taquile and Amantaní. Visit to the Uyo Inca Temple
At 09:30 a.m. we will visit the Temple of Fertility, known as Inca Uyo. This place is full of history and symbolism. It is famous for its phallic sculptures that surprise all visitors. At the entrance you will find two large sculptures. Inside the enclosure, there are eighty more sculptures that create a unique and intriguing scenario.

It is believed that the Inca Uyo was an ushno. It was a sacred place to worship Mother Earth and fertility. Important agricultural ceremonies for the life of the Incas were held here.

The enclosure has a size of 200 square meters. It is surrounded by a wall of carefully carved stones. Inside, there is another smaller wall that complements the design. Thanks to this construction, the Incas could make astronomical readings and decide the best times for planting and harvesting.
