Itinerary
Start of the tour
Our team will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the meeting point. From there, we will start the Cusco city tour.
Available hours: 08:30 a.m. – 13:00 p.m.
Visit to Qorikancha
First, we will visit the Qorikancha, known as the Temple of the Sun. It is one of the most sacred places for the Incas and combines Inca and colonial architecture. Here you can better understand the religious history of Cusco.
Exploring Sacsayhuaman
Afterwards, we will go to Sacsayhuaman, a great fortress in the hills above the city. We will walk among its huge stones and learn about its importance in the history of the Inca empire.
Qenqo ceremonial center
Then, we will visit Qenqo, a ceremonial site famous for its altar carved in the rock and its underground passages. Our guide will tell you how rituals were performed at this site.
Puca Pucara Fortress
Later, we will arrive at Puca Pucara, an ancient fortress that served to control access to the Sacred Valley. Here we will learn about its function and how it helped in the defense of Cusco.
The Bath of the Inca at Tambomachay
Finally, we will visit Tambomachay, a place dedicated to water and nature. We will see its fountains and canals built by the Incas, which show their great knowledge in hydraulics.
Return to Cusco
After visiting these incredible places, we will return to Cusco and drop you off near the Plaza de Armas for your convenience.
01 Night in Cusco.
Hotel pick-up and departure
We will start the tour by picking you up from your hotel between 04:30 a.m. and 04:45 a.m. in our tourist transportation, accompanied by a professional guide. From there, we will begin a journey of approximately 2 hours to the town of Cusipata, located on the outskirts of Cusco.
06:30 a.m. – Arrival to Cusipata
Upon arrival at Cusipata, we will make a brief stop to rest and enjoy a light breakfast, preparing for the trek ahead.
07:00 a.m. – Start of the trek
We will begin a 1.5 to 2 hour hike to the top of the 7 Colors Mountain. During the hike, we will contemplate unique Andean landscapes and have time to take pictures.
09:00 a.m. – Arrival at the summit
Once at the top, you will have time to admire the breathtaking view of the natural colors of the mountain. In addition, the guide will share interesting facts about its geology and the history of this special place.
10:00 a.m. – Return to Cusipata
We will begin our descent to Cusipata, where our transportation will be waiting for us to continue the tour.
12:30 p.m. – Typical lunch
We will enjoy a traditional lunch in Cusipata, with typical regional dishes that complement this cultural experience.
13:30 p.m. – Return to Cusco
After lunch, we will return to the city of Cusco. Arrival is scheduled for approximately 4:30 p.m., and we will drop off passengers near the Plaza de Armas.

This itinerary has been designed to offer you a comfortable and complete experience while you discover one of the most amazing natural wonders of Peru.
Early pick up at your hotel
We will pick you up between 03:50 a.m. and 04:00 a.m. from your hotels and then head to the starting point of our service. Once there, we will follow the steps indicated to ensure a smooth and organized experience.
04:00 a.m. – Pick up to Inca Rail station.
We leave the hotel to get to the Inca Rail station and continue with the tour.
04:20 a.m. – Departure of the bimodal service (bus and train)
The service starts with a combined transfer by bus and train.
06:10 a.m. – Arrival to the town of Ollantaytambo.
We arrive at Ollantaytambo, a picturesque Andean village, from where we take the tourist train.
06:40 a.m. – Departure by train to Aguas Calientes
We leave for Aguas Calientes, where we will have 40 minutes free to have breakfast and relax.
09:00 a.m. – Bus to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu.
We will board the bus that will take us directly to the entrance of Machu Picchu.
10:00 a.m. – Guided tour of Machu Picchu
Entrance to the Inca citadel with a guided tour of approximately 2 hours and a half to learn about its history and mysteries.
12:30 p.m. – Return to Aguas Calientes and time for lunch.
We return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where we will have time for lunch.
14:00 p.m. – Transfer to the train station
We will go to the station to take the train back.
14:30 p.m. – Departure of the train to Ollantaytambo.
The return trip to the town of Ollantaytambo begins.
16:10 p.m. – Arrival to Ollantaytambo
Arrival to the town, where we will change to the bimodal service to continue our return trip.
16:40 p.m. – Return to Cusco
Departure to Cusco in combined service, with estimated arrival in the city.
At the end of the tour, we will drop you off near Cusco’s Main Square for your convenience.

The tour is designed to be accessible to most visitors. However, some of the archaeological sites, such as Machu Picchu and Sacsayhuaman, may have uneven terrain. If you have any mobility concerns, please inform us in advance so that we can make the necessary accommodations.
It is recommended to arrive at least one day before intense activities to allow your body to acclimatize to the altitude. If you experience symptoms of altitude sickness, such as headaches or dizziness, you can drink coca tea or coca candy to alleviate the effects.
Although the hike is moderate, it is advisable to be in good physical shape, as the altitude of the mountain is approximately 5,200 meters above sea level. If you are not used to hiking at high altitude, it can be a challenge, but you can take it easy and take breaks.
The tour usually lasts all day. The trip from Cusco to the starting point of the hike takes about 3 hours, and the hike to the top can take between 1 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. The return to Cusco takes about 3 hours.
The climate in Cusco is variable. During the day, temperatures are pleasant, but at night it can be cold. We recommend that you bring light clothing, but also a warm jacket or waterproof poncho in case of rain, especially during the rainy season (November to March).
